There are so many real-world possibilities right now. I'm much more interested in those than in Cold War battles that never happened.

Hello Saladin,
Welcome to the forums!
The Cold War era is a popular subject for combat, and I want to make sure that I have it covered well enough for MNC rules of that period to be useful to players. Part of the popularity for Cold-War era simulations to many players (perhaps especially to us who were on active military duty during the time) is that the "main battle" itself was never really fought, but with these simulations we can at least get a glimpse of what such a battle might have been like...without all the horrible, horrible stuff that (very thankfully) we did not have to experience.
I have, and currently am, considering more modern (1990s - 2000+) timeframes for MNC. I am currently working on Volume II of the 70s-80s European Expansion - after that is completed in a few weeks I will evaluate what might be in the most demand, and modern naval does appears to be gaining in popularity. Which more modern conflicts (or likely conflicts/faceoffs) would you personally like to see covered?
Thanks!

Any of the conflicts that actually might happen in the near future. I'm particularly interested in limited actions, but those require special rules to stop them from turning into all out bloodbaths.
Obviously the Persian Gulf - both all out and limited conflicts, particularly involving US and French Forces. (The Arab states forces really are of dubious value.)
Japan vs China over the island dispute
US vs China over their security zone
China vs Vietnam
(China vs just about anyone!)
Falklands II
India vs Pakistan
Colombia vs Venezuela with and without the US
US or Canada vs Russia over Arctic resources

I would think a modern (90's through today) based on the countries of the Pacific region would be a great start. Viewing other forums, etc, that seems to garner the most interest. You could include the US, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, South Korea, North Korea, and China. You could even throw in Vietnam, the Phillipines, or New Zeland.

Great to see you here, welcome to the forums! I agree that modern-era 'Pacific Rim' Expansions would be a popular subject, and after I complete MNC Euro Expansion Vol II I will take a look at that possibility. I would like for MNC to eventually cover the 1970s through the 2000s, but of course that will take some time.
So that everyone knows, David is helping out with aspects of info gathering and scenario building for the MNC and MAC games, and his assistance is much appreciated. Thanks again David!

I've been meaning to sign up to the new boards since October.
In a Pacific based module you could even include some Russian forces, maybe even some British units as well.

While not a present day module, I didn't want to start a new thread - I would like to see Eat Germany and Poland forces from the 70's and 89's. Throw is Sweeden and call it the Baltic Expansion??
