Playing the Bogskar scenario. Can anyone help with this. I have a report of 2 BBs but they're well out of los. Who is meant to have sent this report - any ideas what it's modelling? Thanks. Pic attached. Attachment Deleted

Working as designed.
SAI will generate sighting reports that may or may not be complete or accurate. In this case the Bogskar Lighthouse has spotted something German; the exact location and possible composition is given but the actual quality of the sighting report is unknown to you. This is part of the Fog of War: similar reports may also come from wireless direction finding, submarines and other non-Player manageable assets.
Remember, these reports may be correct in location and composition or not and they may appear after delays varying from minutes to hours.
Enjoy.

Ok. So bogskar has a los over 20nm? (around 49,000yards I think it was). I'm not au fait with how high you have to be to see that far past the curvature, but I'll take your word for it!
I'm very impressed with it. The AI is impressive because you can scale command and the subordinates will do a pretty good job. It's the only game where I've come across this so far, in this way, aside from Command Ops.

Sighting reports in SAI are deliberately muddled and randomized to simulate the vague and often misleading reports that real commanders had to work with.
