I particularly like Battle Generator as it is a way for a novice to experiment and become familier with SAI. However, lately I've started getting generated scenarios. I proceed as normal, receive a message "Timed out! No Contact between fleets!" and the play map appears and I find my Battle Division steaming at a right angle into a coast line far from the intended theater (Like a Pacific Ocean scenario placed my Division ramming into Africa around Nigeria.) This might be happening mostly with the Pick Force option selected, the one I prefer. Last night I tried five times in a row with no success.
Any advice on this?

No advice, but I've only experienced this a couple of times, when the generated forces didn't make contact holding to their initial courses and speeds. In those cases, it was in poor visibility conditions (night, rain), so there's a logic to that outcome.
Interested to see if others are getting similar problems frequently. The Battle of Jutland, May 31, 1916. Shelling a large vessel during the battle. Artwork by Felix Schwormstadt. It would be a real convenience to allow players to call up a pre-designed force easily to pit against whatever the software throws at it.
