Updated view of Japanese armored cruisers: Kasuga Nisshin Tokiva Iwate Azuma Yakumo What do you think on Kasuga? Maybe it will be more interesting to use 2 x 10in/45 guns instead of 4 x 8in/45

Just some things I noticed about the initial setup of the Makarov Operational Scenario 1. The flag ship, Mikasa with the other three BB's should be the core, but are considered independent and are sailing in line ahead formation. Shouldn't they be in line abreast, which is a cruising formation? Are we assuming that the Japanese have already detected Makarov has slipped out of Port Arthur?
2. Four destroyers, led by DD Hayatori, are given support roles, yet they are a long way from Togo? Again sailing in line ahead, not line abreast which is a scouting formation. Another light cruiser formation is given support role and is near the destroyers. They are raising steam. Why? Is that an anchorage near Encounter Rock?
3. Why is the Niishin formation, the core formation? Maybe I don't understand the concept of the core formation but it should be the flagship and battleships sailing with her.
4. Many times I tried to take control of a formation only to be told it was not in sight of the flagship and was returned to independent status. Is this normal? 5. Lastly, is it possible that the scenario is really designed to be played by the human as the Russian side?
This is less feedback and more of a need for more detailed info to play better. I didn't finish the scenario due to granddaughter peering over my shoulder, but I was able to sink three of their DD's and lost two myself but objective was not attained.
Thanks for your efforts in creating the drawings and the scenario's. It is appreciated.

Thanks, oldpop2000 1 We assuming that the Japanese have no idea on Makarov's operation and they only patrolling the area as usual 2 They must support Togo-2 division. Sea the new version, please. 3 It means that Kasuga and Niishin must join with Togo 4 I'll check it 5 I hope that scenario will be interesting for both side Here is the new version

Same issues- If I try to take control of Togo-2 Division, I get the message Togo-2 is out of sight of the flagship and switches to AI Control. The cruiser Idzumi is the flagship of Togo-2. Togo-2 is probably under 3 miles away from support destroyers. Day sighting is over 18,500 yards or about 16 miles. They should be within sighting range for support. Am I doing something wrong, assuming something that isn't true?
I also noted that the destroyers supporting Togo-2 are making 25 knots and in line ahead formation after raising steam. Togo-2, i.e. Idzumi formation is only making 16 and again in line ahead. At 25 knots those destroyers will run low on coal real fast and have to clean grates. If they are on scouting and patrol duties, 16 knots should be the norm. The Japanese Navy had a forward Naval base in the Elliot Islands. Still not sure where they were but suspect that they were the islands NE of Port Arthur as those are the only island capable of holding a fleet and are the correct distance from Port Arthur. Just some info.
Can we assume that Makarov has ventured outside the range of coastal guns at Port Arthur for this combat operation. In real life situation, he turned and headed back when he had gone beyond the range of those guns.
