Ok, so now I tried the Goeben scenario. This time I sank the cruiser Duke of Edinburgh (He blew up, He just blew up: From the Battle of Britain) and the destroyer Wolverine however I suffered heavy damage to Goeben and medium damage to Breslau. The Black Prince suffered medium damage and Warrior suffered light damage. German victory as they did not sink Goeben. The Germans scored 29 heavy hits, with 3 light, the British scored no heavy hits and 13 light hits. How I love it when a plan comes together!!

I did it again, Duke of Edinburgh blew up and Goeben and Breslau escape. I had nine heavy hits and two medium, the British had two medium hits. They also lost a trailing destroyer.
Strategy is simply to continue on course until the British squadron is sighted, then turn to 136 degrees and increase speed to 24 knots. This allows you to catch the rear of the British squadron, destroy Edinburgh then you turn the SE and accelerate away from the British who move north. Very simple, but works every time.
