How do you edit it? Must be easy enough. Save or rename the original Baltic Campaign.cam file to keep it safe and open a copy with a text editor; M$ Wordpad or Notepad work fine. Look in the [Environment] paragraph or do a word search for "length" and find the line: Length=3200Edit to taste, for example: Length=3800Save and close. That's it.

For TR missions I don't even bother going that far south. I can find plenty of good hunting between Gotland and the Swedish mainland. Like clockwork. Hanging around in the south Baltic is inviting trouble when you play on Hard.

Turn 56 - Baltic BrawlAdmiralty has decided on a simple bombardment mission and to that end two old Heavy Cruisers and support were mustered to travel. A simple mission? Once again I run into the Germans. Attachment Deleted

Germans score a bunch of hits. This is not in the manual!

I order a flotilla attack and the Germans respond with the same. I need to get these ships out of there. I order an emergency activation of one Dreadnought and hope they can raise steam in time. Attachment Deleted

The modern destroyer Novik takes hits and it's time to save her. All ships are ordered north. Attachment Deleted

We manage to get out of it, battered. But again there's new German ships bearing down on us! I never saw these two Adalbert's before. Attachment Deleted

How do you edit it? Must be easy enough, though I can't find an entry in the cam file that looks like a likely suspect..... search for "Length=3200". It's in the top section.

I order the two light cruisers into a CORE mode from their scouting position, we need all the guns we have. They respond splendidly and lay smoke. Attachment Deleted

As the light cruisers cover the rear, the fleeing heavy cruisers run into more Germans up north. My dreadnought has raised steam but it will be awhile before it reaches open sea. Attachment Deleted

After a running battle my Cruisers get out, barely. My dreadnought has now sallied and covers their escape. After determining that most of my original fleet is out of trouble it turns north and heads for home. Well, there's always a German when you least expect him. Attachment Deleted

Little did I know that those German light cruisers were the vanguard of every German Pre-Dreadnought available. Attachment Deleted

An amazing turn! It took me two (real life) days to complete it. There were two seperate actions - (1) The cruisers go off to bombard, they run into German ships and then my fortunate escape (2) The emergency activated dreadnought which covered the cruisers and was itself involved in a running brawl Probably my favorite turn I've run so far and the least decisive. Check this score, both sides can claim victory: Attachment Deleted
