First off, I just wanted to say that I have SAI and the campaign expansion and love both. I haven't purchased RJW(yet) since older battleships don't appeal as much to me. Anyway, the reason I created a membership on this forum was so I could share some of the ships/historical setups I've created for the basic SAI. I:
The only issue I have is I'm not sure how to create a zip file to put everything in. If someone could help me with that it would be great! I'd love to share this with other fans of the game.
- Created every historical and hypothetical ship class for the US and Japanese navies through 1925, also adding historical classes from 1906-18 that weren't in the game(Some of the Japanese designs are ridiculous, but that's what makes them fun!).
- Extended the Pacific random battle generator to 1925 while adding the aforementioned ships and also phasing out older classes at appropriate dates
- Created every hypothetical BB class of the French, Italian, and Austro-Hungarian Navies(Normandie and Lyon for the French, Francesco Caracciolo for the Italians, and Hunyadi(Ersatz Monarch) for the Austrians)
- Created two alternate Adriatic battle generators: one in which the new Austrian and Italian superdreadnoughts come into play late in the war, the other in which Italy remains in the Triple Alliance and fights with the Austrians against the French fleet and supplementary British light forces
- Added the Hessen(L20a) class superdreadnoughts for Germany
- Edited the North Sea battle generator so that all of the German ships which are in the game but not historical enter into the generator at the same dates as they do in the Germany Stronger 1916 Campaign in the Campaign Expansion. The Hessen class enters late in the period. I also added the Admiral class BCs for the British so they have some more big ships.
The only issue I have is I'm not sure how to create a zip file to put everything in. If someone could help me with that it would be great! I'd love to share this with other fans of the game.
