I got the demo downloaded and the window it pops up in is too big for the screen in the vertical. My OS is windows 7, the resolution is 1366 x 768 and font size is 100%. I cannot make the font any smaller in this OS. I can't drag the window up, only side to side and down. There is not a maximize button, the only one I have is to close the game. As a result, i cannot play at all. Any ideas?

Would you be able to post a screenshot of the full screen? That might help us to better understand what can be done to help.

Ok, yes I see that. Let me dig out my old Dell Latitude tablet (same resolution IIRC) & see what it looks like on that.
EDIT: I tested the demo on the Latitude (running Windows 10 32bit), same screen size (1366x768) and this is what it looks like:
As you can see the demo scaled properly on the Latitude screen - checking the settings on that tablet it is set for 100% font size, so that is the same as well. Are you running Windows 10, or an earlier OS version? Do you have any other software or programs running that can affect the screen/display (such as magnifiers, screen capture software, etc)?

I am running windows7 Home Premium and font is set for 100%, magnifier is set to 100% and no capture software running. It's a Sony VAIO

volkswagen50,
I don't think any of those settings are going to help the issue anyway, more likely it would be a video driver issue or something related to that.
When you run the demo it will create a new text file in the same folder as the executable called "preferences"...open it with windows Notepad and let me know what the lines below "[Main Form]" are in your version.
Below are what the text below that shows in my folder, as an example:
[MainForm] MainFormWidth=1000 MainFormHeight=719 MainFormState=0
If your file shows different values, replace the values with the above, save the file, then run the game again. If it is not a certain type of driver issue there is a chance that might fix it...

No luck. My numbers are the same and changing the number to 500 had no effect. This is the first time I've ever had any issue like this on this computer.

Well, the next step we can try is to update your video card driver. If you know how to do that I would suggest that as the next step. I cant tell you a single method to do that because it differs depending upon your brand and model of graphics accelerator card.
If you wish you can send me information about your video and PC system via the following method:
1) Click on the "Start" Button. 2) In the Search Box type dxdiag and press <Enter>. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear. 3) Click on “Save all Information.” 4) Save the information to your Desktop, keep the file name as is.
You can zip the file and email it to me at: miller-nws@sbcglobal.net
I can look it over and see if I note any issues that may be causing this, but I would still suggest updating your graphics driver if possible.
Thanks.

I looked at your dxdiag file, and the driver version shown for your integrated graphics is the original (OEM) release version (8.15.10.2455) from 2011. The last (& final) driver released for that chip-set is ver. 15.28.24.4229 (9.17.10.4229) from 2015, so that would be the newest release. I would recommend you update (even if it does not resolve the current issue) as it is good to have the latest driver to minimize potential issues in the future. Since you run Windows 7 64-bit OS you would need the following version to update: downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24971/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-64-bit?product=55626If you can I would install that final release, and see if it makes any difference. If it does not....well, it may be some combination of factors that is causing this particular scaling issue on this particular machine (hardware or software or a combination of the two), which honestly may or may not be resolvable from my end remotely. We can still look at other fixes, but I'm not sure what would be the cause if the driver is updated and the dxdiag shows no other potential issues...
Thanks.

I did the suggested updater, got the newest available drivers for the computer and there's no difference. I appreciate all the help and effort, but at this point I've spent a few frustrating hours trying all sorts of things to get one thing to work and I hate to say this, but I give up.

No problem, I understand it is frustrating - sometimes these sort of issues arise and can be very difficult to isolate and resolve...part of the problem with having so wide a range of software and hardware on so many varied machines, I am sorry to say.
If anything else comes up (another user reports the same issue and we happen to fix it for him, for example) I will post the info here in case you still are interested or have the time.
Thanks for your efforts, I am sorry we could not get this issue resolved on your machine. Best of luck, & thanks again.

Success! I rotated the screen 90 degrees to the left and was able to click "load" and then the game screen came up and it fits fine after I rotated back. Now I'm playing and figuring out game mechanics.
