Now we have already known that in the RTW2 the player can his ally's naval port and can conduct combined operations in the time of war. Here I have some new resource sharing aspects in terms of an alliance: 1. Sharing airfield in time of war 2. Sharing oil access in time of war 3. Technology exchange program 4. Combined convoy patrol, like the ones on Atlantic in WW2 5. Intel exchange I am more than happy to discuss with my fellow admirals what do you think what a genuine friendship could include.

Loaning out ships for the duration of the war? Since wars against AI are severely abstracted, this means player could receive on events a few DDs, a CL, maybe an old BB from its ally.
Event could ask the player what do they need.
Destroyers: -1 prestige CL: -2 prestige BB/BC: -3 prestige
Examples: USSR and UK in WW2, to a lesser extent Germans inherited a whole bunch from the Italians.
If the ships survive, they are returned upon the end of the war.
This would allow for a method to directly convert prestige into ships.

We already know that allied ships will make appearances during the actual scenarios. Since that is the case I wouldn't think that lending would be necessary bit of code to have to write and implement and test. Doesn't mean it's a bad idea I just don't know that the concept really fits in with the RTW model.
Something related to it might be the ability to designate a primary front in the war so if I'm the USA and I'm in a war with England and France is my ally, I could designate the Caribbean as the primary Operating Area and then the French AI will send a percentage of its fleet to that ocean area to maximize the allied resources available there. Perhaps with a small prestige price if the designated area isn't the ally's home area.
Probably not really worth spending the time to code either but it doesn't hurt to bring the idea up.

Some sort of coordination of resources (ships, panes would be nice). Or sort of coordinating efforts.

Could be interesting 2. As I understand the access to oil in RTW2, this is automatic and access could be denied by blockade. 3. RTW has already some sort of this. As if you ally with somebody he is willing much more to sold technology to you. So it works differently but effect is in some way same. This could be very interesting however may be difficult to program not to break the game flow. 4. This could be quite interesting to calculate losses of merchants and enemy submarines as whole 5. I think this is something most easily accessible
You have quite nice ideas. We will se how developers will look at them if they have not already done it and evaluate them by out/in importance.
