One thing I love about the Pre-dreadnought era is the brimming Imperial ambition which could have led to any number of conflicts. I've created a set of generators to deal with such eventualities, such as the British attacking the US east coast, or the Germans battling the French in the Atlantic. For the Mediterranean I have combined the Italians and Austrians to provide enough juice to combat the British or the French, but I'm working on some with just the smaller nations of the Mediterranean. Enjoy and any feedback is welcome! BattleGenerators.zip (32.02 KB) I am also considering something similar for the SAI ww1 era. Also, I am half tempted to try to create a small campaign from scratch for say, the Adriatic, so if anyone has attempted that let me know and I would love to work together on it.

Paul,
Thanks for posting these - they look very interesting and I am sure that players will enjoy exploring the possibilities they create.
Thanks again!

So where to install it? RJW/Custom Files or RJW/Scenarios?

You should be able to drop everything straight into the ...\Custom Files folder.

Thanks for these.
Just had a go at the GBvUS generator with a large battle. Due to how encounter developed, playing GB, I swapped lead division to deploy on the opposite wing. All was well with the battle and I had done significant damage to the US battle line when visibility dropped. I got a message saying the lead division was now under AI control as it was out of sight of the lead ship. The head of the line promptly fell into chaos. When visibility improved I could get the head of the line under control again, but when it dropped a second time I abandoned play. I don't remember seeing anything like this in SAI when I have deployed on the opposite wing. It is pointless using the change lead division command if it only works when the old lead division is in sight. I don't remember seeing this behaviour in SAI

I will take a look at this. Thanks for the feedback!

There is a bug when changing the lead division or doing a battle turn away that will have this effect. Sorry for the inconvenience, will fix in the next update.

So where to install it? RJW/Custom Files or RJW/Scenarios? Yes dump them in Custom Files. The flags may have to reside in Flags.

The flag *.bmp files should live happily in the Custom Files folder as the game can find them there when the particular Battle Generator is selected. Sending them to the Flags folder instead, works just as well though. Thanks.

By the way, I should add that some designs needed to be back ported from SAI proper, and these have not been attached to the zip as they are part of the paid product. Although, I assume most people with SAI:RJW have the original game (because who wouldn't want to refight Jutland?!).
