I started a game with Germany 1920 (ToV + WNT)- during 1939 there was another disarmament conference with a 10000ts/8" limit and no submarines (81 submarines bye bye)- 3 months later the naval secretary wanted 15 new submarines

Oof, we almost pulled a Makarov right there! Lucky.
(After that, my two dreadnoughts present got one classic bullsh*t-torpedo each while heavily evading:)
WOHOOO, COME ON, GIRL! Come home! I am seriously going to rename you "lucky" in japa...
...wait, hold on.
Oh.

My early (1918) ground based torpedo bombers managed a successful air strike. My 1 French BC was outnumbered by 3 Austrian BCs, but our air strike managed to put 4 torpedoes into a single battlecruiser. I was like "wow, these were 20 bombers, I didnt expect 4 hits..." Plot twist: enemy 28 000 ton BC survived all 4 hits and managed to get home from Sicily to Austria...

Started game as UK. Keept my peace, figured out how to convert a ship to a carrier. Game continues, carrier would be finished next month, then the demo ended. My wife had a good laugh because I apperantly developed "tourett Syndrom" that very moment I'm just glad I put my drink down before I read your post.

I built a new austro-hungarian BB. My second generation of dreadnoughts and it was sinked by a single italian torpedo not 6 months after its completion. Right in front of Pola...
But 12 years later my BC-s accidentaly run into a french BC. Those where my oldest and the french was their modernest. The very first salvo had only one hit. But that hit was a magazine hit and the Mediterrain is now richer by 36.500 tonne of steel.

Your crews can (and will) sometimes report hits when no hits have happened... I've seen it personally in one of my battles. Had a CVL around, sent a couple strikes against an enemy BC, one torpedo hit reported after each strike... AAR summary damage report showed that BC had taken no torpedo hits during the whole battle .

I had that happen in one of my battles too. My TBs reported no less than 6 hits on the enemy battle line, and it turned out that they scored none! In fairness to my pilots, I think their attack forced the enemy out of formation, and right into the guns of my BB force.
I like it, it's a very nice touch and it forces you to take all air reports of hits with a grain of salt lest ye run your fleet right into a force of supposedly torpedoed vessels.

I believe the AAR summary is currently bugged, actually, though fog of war is still a thing.

The AAR for bomb hits and torpedo hits currently is bugged. I sank 5 BBs without ever seeing them and no hits were reported in the AAR

Give me any reason why I should use flying boats over medium bombers for scouting? How the hell my 1 year old fighter would catch almost any of my bombers?
