UK (me) vs US war in 1904. Both countries have a large fleet in the NA East Coast area. On prompting for a Battleship Engagement - Invasion Battle! around New Brunswick (presumably the US invading), I accept but the US declines battle.
I'm then prompted for identical battles in Northern Europe, the Carribbean, NA West Coast and then NAEC again. The US declines all of them, understandably enough not having any battleships outside the East Coast. This leaves me up about 10,000pts and slightly perplexed at what they'd have been invading...

I got a similar event where I invaded indochina in my game as germany against france in 1928, and to my surprise, I invaded Brest as well immediately after, despite having had no plans to do so. Naturally, their fleet in the bay of biscay was much larger, and I suffered rather badly in that unintended invasion.
