Currently in a battle that has gone pretty bad for me as Italy. The British and AH forces pretty much destroyed my entire heavy surface fleet and seeing as this was a long battle I was waiting till sunrise to begin using my carriers to help even the score. At this point nothing can be selected as my flag to control and now I have this error msg popping up.
Ive taken a save and hopefully this will help recreate the problem
<Link to copyrighed third-party material removed by admin>
Added: So I played on for a bit longer and ended up with more and more errors till the game became completely unresponsive and wouldn't let me exit the normal way. After Alt, Ctrl, and Del and killing the task that way it appears in the reload its running fine atleast at this stage. The error was focused on a end turn thing and the clock stopped working as well :/ In future Ill take some screen shots as well

A save is very useful for diagnosing the problem. In many cases though, saving and reloading will get rid of the problem.
The link led to some Warhammer 40000 stuff though, and not and RTW save.

lol, WH40k link. Rick Rolled.
Fredrik, speaking of 40k, how about a Space Opera for RTW3? Call it RTG Rule the galaxy. You could use Alcubierre type Drives for warping/displacing space around ships to get around Newtonian physics of linear acceleration and be able to move like naval vessels do on earth in outer space. It'd work because all you'd have to worry about is the G-force from acceleration/deceleration to the crew. With Alcubierre drives, you'd only need station keeping thrusters for docking/evasive maneuvers. The drives could also act as a sort of shield as they somewhat displace space. You could use RTW, just with a space back drop and some basic changes to the minutia that make up RTW. All the code should still work. I think it'd be great. Let me know if you need a writer. I'm currently free.

I'll sign an nda and I just want some free copies of the game and a writers credit if you like my work. Let me know.

Thanks! The error didn't reappear unfortunately. They often disappear if saving and reloading.
