I'm really enjoying RTW2 so far, and I'm spending the time getting used to the mechanics before perhaps starting my own AAR. I do have a bit of an issue regarding the air-strike screen. It seems a bit clunky to use, but it's very functional nonetheless. I do have some ideas on how to make it a bit easier to use though: - Perhaps it would be worth it to allow clicking on the row headers to sort the squadrons?
- A 'select highlighted squadrons' button would be nice, especially when operating multiple carriers.
- Not related to the fighter screen itself, but it would be nice to have a button to copy and paste loadout settings, or at least have one to apply the settings to an entire class.
- Perhaps reports regarding the completion of refits on certain classes of ships such as DDs en-masse can be condensed?
- Perhaps the ship designer window can be reworked to have a zoom feature?
- And/or perhaps splitting the 'no guns' option into a 'no secondaries' and 'no main battery' one would be good?

Clicking on the column headers sorts the squadron list in the Air Group Management menu for me, using v1.03 (also worked in v1.02, don't remember if it did in v1.01 or v1.0). Are you playing on the current version of the game? If the zoom feature you want is for drawing the superstructure, there already is one - click on the '+' and '-' buttons above the ship graphic to zoom in and out.

The same doesn't work for me in the airstrike management window. Sorry, I wrote most of this at 4 AM. I meant the ship side-view profile window.

The same doesn't work for me in the airstrike management window. My mistake, I thought you meant the Air Group Management menu in the main game window rather than the airstrike menu during a battle scenario. It's alright. We're all human! On another note, I thought up two more ideas for improvement: 1. Airstrike priority - It would be nice to tell your planes to prioritize their heavy armament on certain targets when readying them, say carriers over battleships, or to put the hurt on the enemy destroyer screen. Of course, if they can't find the prioritized types of ships, they'll proceed as normal and choose their own. 2. Naval reform: The idea would be basically, the ability to spend prestige to add or remove certain national traits, to the effect of giving the USA the ability to pull sneak-attacks via naval reform, or the skills built up by building large ships or many ships of the same class, essentially removing the poor shipbuilding trait. Answers to events could also have a small chance of doing this... But overall, there should be a tradeoff: perhaps the chance is really small, or things like that.
My core idea behind this is the ability to exchange Prestige and a bit of money to kickstart a "Naval Reform" event chain. It should either set your Prestige to just above the threshold in which you get sacked, or subtract a certain flat rate or percentage to the current amount. The succeeding events in the chain should by and large, function as a balance: Perhaps captains will be displeased and crew quality on certain ships/classes of ships will degrade, you may need to pay consultants and/or 'grease the wheels' to help make your case, maybe tensions with other nations will rise, you might need to convince other admirals. So on... A failure of the event chain should probably not lead to you being sacked, but it should be a setback. Winning the chain should give you the desired trait, and perhaps a bit of prestige.

essentially removing the poor shipbuilding trait.
Undeveloped Shipbuilding Industry already goes away eventually.

I see, thanks! What about the rest, though?
