ATM, carriers seem to(AFAICT) have the same arcs for wing turrets as conventional ships. Unless I'm missing something it's not possible to make something like the Lexington-class with flight deck level turrets. This is to me kind of weird given that there's a number of ships which carried turrets above the flight deck allowing for fire to both sides of the ship(Essex, Graf Zeppelin, are other examples).
I'd probably leave it tied to cross-deck fire, if a CV has wing turrets and cross deck fire checked its turrets are treated as if they are superfiring for weight purposes and get arcs similar to A/B or X/Y turrets as long as the opposite pair is not present on the ship(so if turrets E and D are present, the turrets are normal wing turrets). This would make heavy guns on carriers less silly, for ships like Lexington or certain versions of Midway with the 6" DP gun.

Yes, please add superfiring CV turrets to the game. This would be very nice.

Agreed. It would add more utility, as well as a rationale for those 8in guns on the early CVs
