Of course not a very important suggestion, but I would find it extremely useful if I could save the scenario results screen, perhaps to a text file of some kind. It would also be very nice to be able to open the screen again after closing it, so that I can take a look at the information on the map (lines etc) for context before reading it.
My current practice, whenever I can muster the will to do it, is to copy / paste ships' logs, and to manually record relevant information, such as number of hits scored and received by individual ships. I then use Cntrl+F to search through these logs for relevant statistical information (such as number of penetrating hits scored by gun caliber, or number of hits against horizontal vs vertical protection.) On occasion I've drawn up tables to compare the number of horizontal and vertical hits / penetrations scored at various ranges.
I don't know if many (or any) other players are as interested as I am in analyzing the data in this way, but if so, perhaps some simple tools (for example, recording 'Heavy Hits: Vertical' and 'Heavy Hits: Horizontal' instead of just 'heavy hits') to help with such analysis might also be a good thing to add.

It's not everything you're asking for, but if you haven't noticed yet, the Statistics screen - the spreadsheet you can open by clicking Ship Details in the battle summary - has a Copy to Clipboard button that copies the spreadsheet as something you could paste into an Excel workbook.

For some reason it's never worked for me, either in RTW1 or 2.
