When you right-click on a ship in battle (especially enemy ships, but friendlies too), it would be nice to be able to see the year (possibly the month) she was commissioned, and the same for her most recent rebuild.

Also before version 1.06, when you clicked on an enemy ship it used to show damage, e.g. how many turrets destroyed. It should still do this.

If it isn't, they are probably disabled. Also it can see how fast it is going, whether it is listing, on fire, etc.

Yes, you'd know the guns weren't firing, but that wouldn't tell you if they were disabled or destroyed. They might even just be out of ammo.
Also, a lot of that information is available anyway; the firing reports tell you how many guns they're firing (which is better than just seeing if their turrets are disabled/destroyed, because it also takes into account their ammunition. You can also mouse over the ship on the tactical map, and the tooltip tells you their current speed (to the nearest 5 kts, again, for fow's sake) and their estimated status (light/medium/heavy damage, on fire, or sinking).
