Version 1.05b
. My apologies, I procrastinated for a fortnight.
Start Date 1900
Save of the end game in 1956 (AH_105b.zip) may be downloaded here
1. After resigning, the Show History button does not work.
2. The end game screen had a warning about continuing after 1925, as opposed to 1955.
3. In the second war I had with (Fascist) Italy, they surrendered. The Duce was deposed, yet they remained Fascist. Later, there was a change in government, and again they remained Fascist. I thought the Italians would have given Democracy, or at least Communism a chance. My inner John Bolton is sad.
4. In the same war, I had multiple shore bombardment missions in the Adriatic where I ordered carrier airstrikes prepped (but not launched) with dive bombers and a few fighter bombers and some fighter escort against said target with a Heavy load. Immediately in the minute after I gave the order, more than half of the aircraft were listed as operationally destroyed. Forrestal fire?
5.I have an Abruzzi-class BC, the Slavonien. When I design for rebuild, I can do the following:
5a. Initial Cost is 4 months, $816 per month (4/816)
5b. Increasing the number of 4-inch secondaries from 14 to 16 increases cost to 4/1276.
5c. Decreasing the secondaries back to 14 resets the cost to 4/816.
5d. Upgrade main 13-inch guns from +0 to +1, which sets the cost to 6/622.
5e. Now increase the number of secondaries back to 16, to set the cost to 8/3627.
5f. Decreasing the secondaries back to 14 sets the cost to 8/3397, instead of the value in 5d.
6.The above ship was a war prize. Intelligence indicates that its sister, the Abruzzi, was converted into a light carrier (not even a CV) with no anti-ship guns and only six aircraft. I understand there may be bad intelligence, but how can a ~38k ton vessel be classified as a CVL? Comparison pictures are attached.
