when i want to move ships i right click/move ship, but often i want to just clear/cancel the moves and it's actually a multi-step process that's more complicated than setting a destination
in RtW1 i would switch the ships to FS and then back to AF which would clear the destinations, however that doesn't work in RtW2
what would be really handy is if in the ship right click menu just below move ship was the option to Cancel Move or Clear Move so i can clear destinations in a single easy click
and/or (if it's easier)
when i right-click/move ship, in the destination list it never shows the current seazone the ship is in so i can't use that as a way to manually 'cancel' the ships destination by selecting the seazone the ship is already in - yes there is a cancel ordered moves button but it is a very awkward multi-step process to use so i avoid it like the plague unless i am given no choice but to use it
and since it's the same subject i'l again mention it would be really nice if we could select ships in different seazones and send them all to a single destination with 1 move instead of individually selecting each group of ships in different seazones and having to individually give them move orders
right now i'm playing UK and i have 25+ CLs scattered all over the world on FS, sometimes i want to send them all to Northern Europe and it is currently a looooong complicated process to do so

If you change AF-->FS or vice versa then do a zone drag to see the ship's move order (or just go to the map and back), you should see that the order has been cleared.

So its possibly a display issue, will note that for Fredrik W .

While he's at it, there's a display bug I mentioned in 1.00 (possibly in the original big bug thread) that when you cancel a move it doesn't update the status column for that ship; instead it stomps the speed column with the status. Look at Forbin in the screen shot below (I just cancelled its move): Speed should not read "AF" and the status should not have the arrow in it, i.e. should be "AF" not "AF > West Africa". Closing the move window and opening it resolves the issue, so it's simply a display thing. Not a big deal, just an annoyance. Screen shot is from ~30 seconds ago in 1.07, so it's still there.
