Great game! How to implement pics in it, e.g. from SAI?
PS: Like the funny Kaiser's yacht event! Representing a peaceful Nation I had to support it, of course BTW, in the early 1890ies the Kaiser's steam yacht SMY Hohenzollern II was officially declared to be an potential Aviso in case of war in order to avoid the expected problems with the parliament (perhaps an alternative for the next RTW-update?). The next steam yacht Hohenzollern III wasn't planned shortly before WWI. But there were the expensive Sailing yachts Meteor II-IV in the meantime, from time to time adding a little bit of spice to the growing tensions when beating their British Counterparts at Cowes or Kiel.

Two further questions and a remark:
How is it possible to zoom back to the world map? I d'like to have the land in black colour on the world map in order to get rid of the modern borders. But that doesn‘t seem to work under "preferences"? As to the ship pics see my question above. Some German CLs within the legacy fleet were actually ACs in reality: Ships of the Victoria Luise class and Hansa. Just my two cts.
Thank you!

You can get back to the world map by going to the possessions tab, right clicking on your home base, and selecting "zoom to". But I agree that it would be good to add a button that lets you zoom out instantaneously.

You can zoom the world map with the mouse wheel. But, I hear you, I'll add a zoom out button.
Most reference works list the Victoria Luise class as protected cruisers (without belt armour), though they do have CA-armament I admit. Not really important though, CL and CA names are somewhat interchangeable. If it runs out of one it will pick from the other list.
Edit: OK, Gröner lists her under "Grosse Kruzer", so I'll move them for v 1.1. She is misspelled too I have to admit. Funny, the princess is named Viktoria Luise but the ship named after her is named Victoria Louise. I always thought Germans were logical...

Thx jma, but it seems to me that your tip doesn't work for Germany

Funny, the princess is named Viktoria Luise but the ship named after her is named Victoria Louise. I always thought Germans were logical... Thanks Fredrik, especially the displacement and the armament of VL and her sisters might perhaps get some modification too (quoted from wikip.):
Class and type: Victoria Louise-class protected cruiser (amongst others SMS Hansa too belongs to this class!) Displacement: Full load: 6,491 t (6,388 long tons; 7,155 short tons) ... Armament: 2 × 21 cm (8.3 in) guns 8 × 15 cm (5.9 in) guns 10× 8.8 cm (3.5 in) guns 3 × 45 cm (18 in) torpedo tubes
So far AC is no available as a ship class in RTW?
SMS Gazelle was the slim CL lead ship of the ten-vessel Gazelle class (she did not belong to a "Hansa class"), SMS Thetis belonged to Gazelle class.
BTW: I must admit that C and K are a mess in German from time to time : E.g., Coburg and Köln (Cologne) as they are spelled today were spelled just the other way around (Koburg and Cöln) at the beginning of the 20th century ... (see SMS Cöln 1909 and 1916, CL Köln 1930 ...) But apart from those minor problems German is not too difficult
Cheers

Armoured cruisers and Heavy Cruisers are bunched together in the CA classification, this was to facilitate a carryover just as it is in RTW, where you will have one at the beginning and the other at the end, but the role is pretty much the same. I know, I get along fairly well in German.

Popping my own question in here: How do you build MTBs? I researched the tech which allows them, but I don't see any way to design or build them. Or do they just show up in battles near your bases?

They were intended but were dropped at the last moment as it would have been a complication.

I'd like to raise the ships graphics question once more: From SAI I remember that new pics had to have the size of 640x160. Which Format? Is it still possible to link ship designs with graphics in RTW? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me how or if the "Tension" window can be closed or re-sized? In my games, it's so large it's covering-up the Build and Tech buttons and others on the right side of the screen. This hasn't been a problem in the other SAI games and I've moved and tried to adjust the window size and shape but cannot get it to where I can see the entire screen without the Tensions covering what I need to see. Also, is there a list of hotkeys anywhere? Thank you.

Are you running screen resolution 1024 * 768? I can see there could be a problem. I will try to solve this for v 1.1.
There are no hotkeys for the main window. but I will put that on the todo list for future versions.

It seems that the interest in them is gone - and the possibility to insert them under ship design as well...?
