I don't think the game checks current Tension levels before it calculates Budgets. It only updates when there is an in-game Tension change. If we manually edit Tension levels, the game is oblivious because the change didn't happen as part of the turn sequence. So budgets don't reflect edited Tension levels.
I'd like this to change so Tension level is checked at the start/end of every turn. Can this easily be done? This small change would really allow us to roleplay and have a lot of fun in our games and see the budgets reflect roleplay events of our own design. I hope this is something easily able to do and I know this is a pretty far out there request, but I'd love to see it done if possible.
