While getting mods to work i came across some images in the files of RTW2 that I've never seen before and want to know what they even are or what happens when you get them. They are labelled as followed. "Airship" "aircraft" "Opera" and "speech"

...Ok, I have played hundreds and hundreds of games, and I have *never* seen these show up in a game. I think I would have to say they are "relic DNA" for want of a better term, that currently never are called upon to hear. Very interesting though!

Opera.jpg was in RTW1 as well. Apparently it's used by an obscure variant of the dreaded "navy awash in money" event.

From the opera event in RTW1, I have a screenshot:
So yes, it's indeed a very German way of taking your funds.

Wow, you never have had the opera house trigger. I did a play through as Germany starting 1900. I must have had this event trigger about once every 2 decades. I was thinking to myself that the Kaiser really loves his opera.
I think it is linked to the amount of resources you have the same way that money will be given to the Army if you try and stockpile too much. It won't fire as much as the "we're giving money to the Army" event.
When I play as AH, the Kaiser there always seems to want Royal Yachts, so I think it is very dependent on what nation you play.

Finally, I've also come across that "speech" image, and the corresponding event looks like this:

Maybe in this timeline he got that act of union through.
