In some of the battles it is proving awkward to maneuver the carrier during the daytime as it keeps launching and landing CAP.
The suggestion is in addition to the existing Low, Medium, etc CAP to have a Zero CAP. Or a "Stop launches" as landings will still have to occur.
I imagine it to be like telling the carrier to go hell bent to haul deck and stern.
As well as helping with getting stuck on land obstacles it can be of use in long range launches near night. The carrier rushing in the same direction as the planes to shortern their return. This was a tactic used by IJN though I dont recall exactly which battle (maybe Mariannas)
Perhaps the best way to do this is "Stop CAP launches" with an alert popping up to advise that steering for landings will still occur plus warning that this can be dangerous.
