I do have the tech for 6-8 in autoloaders. I can use them normally on main battery. I also have a checkbox available for secondary battery of 6 inches. But when I switch battery type (from casemate) or change caliber and then go back to 6 in, the checkbox for autoloader is no longer available and it becomes unchecked.

Can confirm that I've had this same issue in multiple different campaigns.

janxol - Do you have a save game available where this occurs that you can compress and post here (or upload it to a file storage site & post a link to it if its too large)? That would help us track down any potential issue in this case... Thanks!

My ally GB should declare war when you press next turn. I don't know if it matter, but I was using hipper design mod and seawolf's speed mod as well.

I don't know if it matter, but I was using hipper design mod and seawolf's speed mod as well. [/div] [/quote] Generally, unless a game has a modding API, or the devs say otherwise, modded installs will be completely unsupported, because the devs only know about the code they wrote and the data files they shipped with the game. Even when devs do support modded installs, it's common for support for modded installs to have a separate forum section. In general, it's always best to isolate an issue to either the core game (by reproducing it with the unmodded game) or to a specific mod (by reproducing it with only that mod installed, and confirming you can't reproduce it without the mode), and to then report it to the responsible party.

I doubt either mod would affect anything in this case, as only a speed table and database of AI designs are modified. I mentioned it in case it has some wierd effect.

As said before, I can confirm that I've had this same issue with casemated 6" secondaries in multiple different campaigns, and I'm playing pure vanilla, no mods.

Bumping as I've recreated this on 1.22. If I don't touch the 6" secondaries at all, I can select the autoloader. If I bump them down or up in inches and then move them back, the ability to select autoloader goes away even if I don't select the upgrade.
