Playing a fresh 1.12 game as USA non-historical
Invasion battle triggered for landing at Yemen
In the battle I now have one 75% damaged B and no longer any DD. The 2 enemy B are in rough shape from torp hits. So it appears I can hold them off as they aren't willing to fight more.
Now watching my invasion transports seven (7) of them drive into the objective circle.
No message of their success came up.
The objective tab still shows get there with four (4) [less than the 7] still shows pending.
All seven drive and drive around, sometimes in the direction of the standing off enemy 2 B. A bit alarming that!
So far no shots fired and with my own B the enemy 2 B can be kept at long range.
>>>
So I'm not sure if this is a bug with the test for the objective met or if the phrasing of the objective message should be changed.
Is it more like "have 4 transports near objective at end of battle" ?

I saved the game btw and on the reload now the transports are sailing away... toward an enemy port with minefield >_<
edit: It occurs to me that the nearest friendly base is also in that direction.

Force closed the game and reloaded into this battle. This time the transports stayed at the objective. Unfortunately at the end of battle report it still comes up as a failure. There are seven (7) transports buzzing the objective but its failing to report the four (4) needed as fulfilled.
Exiting the battle I do get the between turn message with picture that the invasion has successfully landed.

Has there been a change in the transport names that might have lead to this?
Query on how the map detection works.
Would suggest it not just be "arrived" but at the end of the battle. You need to hold the invasion beach for a while.

Agreed with the last - this would also help when the system glitches and reverses the positions of the attackers and defenders.
