Noticed this when readying floatplane bombers. The cruisers involved were badly damaged and now retreating but their planes are still viable so I decided they might as well do a floatplane nstrike on the way out.
Turns out the known issue of defaulting nstrike to M means you could ready them with zero weapons. In this case the 1920s floatplanes only have a bomb for their H loadout. If I hadnt caught the M default they would have flown out for no weapon.
There are two code ways that come to fix this.
The first is simply to set the default Nstrike ready to H not the current M. Then there would at least be some sort of bomb.
The other would be to check that the M mode has a weapon and if not then choose H. Possibly double check H and if it doesnt then report to the player this plane type has no weapon. This is the more complex programming mode. The only advantage is attempting to retain the longer range of the M flight mode.
