Newbie mod install question

Just purchased albeit been on here for ever

I want to play as Netherlands to help with an Embryonic Alt-his story I’ve been trying to write for years

I know there are mods that would let me play as NL

Question is - what is best one? Where do I find And how do I install

The download file is about halfway down the first page. To install it, you just need to copy/unzip the data files into the data folder, and put the Flag in the Flag file with the other national flags.

IMPORTANT: make sure to create backups of the Mapdata files before you install the mod. The updating process requires that original unedited mapdata files in order to work.

Map data backup assume that’s easy to find in file folders

Did I read that I need to start 1900 ? I’ve only played 2 games so far both as 1920 start as more familiar with that time frame
