Similiar to earlier suggestion (couldnt find the earlier thread) Having a problem that while sailing SW into the English channel the scouts found this was not a good battle to have. So I turned the fleet behind them to the NE to leave. The carrier in its default "support" role is programmed to go to the back of the formation. Normally okay for starting a fight. In this case it meant the carrier happily sailed on to on the SW side of the fleet. Yes, meaning it is now the closest to the too-big enemy fleet. We really could use the "support" to have some branches like "station west" "station east" etc. This would help us in so many ways. Another situation in the earlier thread was the weird things that happen near land or in narrow seas. In those the existing AI can get trapped. A "station XXX" gives the player a means to get the ships out of the bay/cove/trap and back to wider seas. Game file attached shows the glorious bravery of said carrier not only having taken the point of danger vs the French fleet but it has also scouted the perimeter of a minefield and now about to engage a shore battery... as a CVL.
