Hello,
Sometimes I notice that even though an enemy ship was sunk, only half the points is scored to the opponent. As far as I can tell, it is in the situation when a ship sinks "through progressive flooding". Is this deduction correct?
If so, I presume this case means that the owner of the ship could have taken action that prevented flooding, and therefore the enemy was not the direct cause of the sinking. It also suggests that ships should be "finished off" wherever possible from a scoring point of view.
