Some more questions:
1. Is there any advantage given to DD Flots/Divs which have Leaders? Either a cruiser with the Flotilla, or a DL included in the division? I can't find any documentation (which doesn't mean it's not there.) Haven't noticed any, but there might be.
2. Does anyone know a good workaround/fix for handling the rebasing at the end of a campaign turn? It is a problem. One thing is that the program just doesn't take a straight "Yes" or "No", and move on. It keeps asking the same question, repeatedly. But you have to be careful, sometimes it changes the base asked about. Anyway, I recently kept clicking just "Yes", and still ended up with the whole GF in Grimsby.
What's the best way to handle this?
3. Is it anywhere written which ships can join which forces? E.g., I know BBs cannot be put in DD Flots. But it seems DDs CAN be added to the CL Flotilla flagship Divs. I note that, when there are many units in repair, in their own unit, under the ship's name, are shown as options when reassigning. Haven't tried it, but I wonder why.
4. Just how far off can intelligence reports be? I just finished the 2nd big battle in a month. (May, 1916, as it happens.) Both fleets are battered. I'm told the enemy has "2 Dreadnoughts". This is possible, but probably low. How far can I trust it?
5. Is there any reason to bother repairing patrol units not in your controllable forces? I mean ships like the Dover Patrol, etc. Is there a penalty if those units don't get their ships back?
6. Does it make a difference what position in a division a ship occupies? I suspect it does; that the first listed will fire first. But I'm not certain. If so, it would make sense that, e.g., Baden should always lead her unit (unless Bayern is there, too.)
7. I think I just found that your own torpedoes can hit your ships, in a confused action. I don't see how to prevent this, either, as the units firing them are rarely under direct control.
8. Does Edinburgh's capacity get increased during the course of the full campaign? A quick check didn't find anything, but who knows?
