Could someone explain why in my battles as Brazil, my ships and battles are under the horn of Africa instead of the coast of South America. Is my geography off some how? Could be an issue with the either the War Mission that the computer picked, or an issue with the possession information. If this is someone else's mod, than they would have a better idea. If this is your own mod, than I'd recommend checking the War Missions using the editor: look where the starting points for the two fleets are, and where the center-point is. I know from my own experience that either of those two can cause errors. It ain't mine, mate.

As far as I can tell there's nothing in the war file to cause it.

Well, have you examined the longitude and latitude in the war file? You have 34511E 532825 N as an example but that lat-long is in Germany and the NationName is Germany, is that how this works?

Do you remember what type of battle it was? That could help narrow it down. I've checked the warinfo file (through the editor) and didn't notice any issues, but maybe I missed something. Edit: Also, only Argentina is fully done for battles as a player or opponent. Ie, I've done the warinfo file for Argentina/Brazil, Argentina/Chile, Brazil/Argentina, but not Brazil/Chile or Chile/Argentina (first country being player country). I just noticed an issue in a couple of missions though. I'll repost soon.

South America - Argentina, Brazil, ChileThe latest version. Corrected a couple of errors in the warinfo file. Only Argentina has all their battles done. Brazil has battles against Argentina, but Chile doesn't have any ones done (only as an opponent). Attachments:SA.zip (111.29 KB)

I did notice an error in the raid on enemy coast missions, but the fleet battles look fine to me, which is weird.

UPDATE: Another war with Argentina. The fleet battle was correctly located, and I sank two armored cruisers, 1 heavy cruiser, one light cruiser and two destroyers. I lost 1 light cruiser and 1 tin can. Amazing. The war ended soon after, but no territory to gain. I had already defeated them once and gained Ecuador. Ich.

Well, I just fought the Argentinian's for the third time and at the same time, the US. Interesting virtual history.
Game is over, very successful. Three wars, won two of them, and the third all parties decided enough was enough.

"Brothers and sisters are natural enemies, like Norwegians and Danes, or Finns and Danes, or Japanese and Danes, or Danes and other Danes. Damn Danes! They ruined Denmark!" [Insert what Airy W said] "You just made an enemy for life!"
