The words "decadent and effete" aren't going to get unstuck from my mind anytime soon Great going, quite the aggressive (but systematic) approach you're taking here! Are you playing with varied technology? Ever since that came in, I've gotten even more tentative about my plans, and follow suit with the nearest power in terms of ship classes until I see which way the cookie crumbles, so to speak. And I really like the class naming system you use, I should really try something like that, too!

And I really like the class naming system you use, I should really try something like that, too! In every game, in every war, Bullet-whoever's navy is always "glorious" and the enemy is always "decadent and effete", although they might also be "running dog bourgeois imperialist lackeys" from time to time. I got into this habit when writing AARs about 20 years ago, way back in Custom Forum 24 of Delphi. If you use stereotypical propaganda catch phrases, then everybody assumes you're an idiot so they don't judge your results too harshly Yes, this is a varied tech game. Because everybody's tech is varied, there's no generalized target to shoot for to be competitive. The various other nations have produced some weird ships, but they're good for what I'm assuming they have for tech. I've just gotten into a war with Germany and we're about evenly matched, so things should be interesting.

The detail, description, and visual presentation is fantastically entertaining BH. It is so good in fact, I see no reason to attempt my own half-assed saga. lol
Very much looking forward to the next installment! Bravo!

It is so good in fact, I see no reason to attempt my own half-assed saga. lol Very much looking forward to the next installment! Bravo! Oh bah. You're quite as good at this sort of thing as I am, and perhaps better at playing the game, so PLEASE post some AARs from your games. AARs are wonderful things. They're not strictly speaking about entertainment, they're about putting up what you did for peer review so others with more experience in the game can provide constructive criticism, so your next game will be more successful. Of course, in return for this instruction, it helps if you at least make an effort at providing your reviewers some entertainment. Hence my use of stereotypical propaganda catch-phrases.
