Burningapple3 Can you try the following to see if it affects this issue: Open up settings for Windows, select 'Time and Language', then select 'Administrative language settings', and in the "Language for non-Unicode programs" section press the "Change system locale" button, select "English (United States)" and also check the box "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support". Edit: We are looking at a fix for the officer and other names as well.

If you are using (IIRC) v1.00.40 or later the game will show the save location on the 'save confirmation' dialog (when you click to save the game). The standard location should be as jwsmith26 above mentioned...

Yes, Fighting Steel is still a copyrighted property under US law. Our agreement with the original owner (Divide-By-Zero software) of the game did not allow us to share the source code.
Thanks.

What message does the game give when you attempt this?
Also, if you have a save game showing this issue it would really help us to track it down - you can zip up the entire game folder and post it here, or post it to a file-sharing/cloud service (like Google Drive, DropBox, WeTransfer, etc) and share a link to it here.
Thanks.

Which game version did this occur in? Also, do you have a save game that shows this issue?

We can't reproduce this issue on our end. Most likely it is related to a rare Steam Cloud issue we have seen from time-to-time; have sent this to Matrix for evaluation on their end.

Is this still being investigated? v.1.00.41 Beta and I still have this pop up every time I try to play. Yes we are looking at this, but its a tricky issue for a couple of reasons. Also, please be aware there can be a couple weeks of lead time between when a fix is first created and then pushed out even for a public beta, as we do extensive internal testing first. Thanks!

Hello sandersan We have not worked on Fighting Steel for 15+ years now, and it would not be possible to add such a function given that the original tools used for FSP will not work on modern Windows OS's. I'm curious though, can you not take a Windows screenshot with the AAR screen showing and then load that into a paint program to edit/save it?

Thanks for the report - if possible could you share the save game (we would need the entire save game folder) for us to examine...that would help us track down the issue. You can compress the folder and post it here, or post it to a file-sharing/cloud service (like WeTransfer, Google Drive, etc) and post a link to it.
Some additional info may assist us as well:
1) What is the location/path your RTW3 game installed to? 2) Did you receive any errors from Steam Cloud about syncing?
Thanks.
