Will it be part of mod v3? Yes, but it works in stock game as well. You doesn't need any mod to try this. Its hard

I could not found information about range finders on small protected cruisers. Can anyone tell about this moment? Maybe we need additional suggestion - don't use range finders in protected cruisers which displacement less than 4000t. This will decrease accuracy at 10%. Cruisers with small displacement were bad platform for artillery. Novik seems got Barr-Strud rangefinder before or during the war, I saw also mention about training with rangefinders on Izumrud (though only in Internet), Almaz had only rough micrometers, nearly useless even on medium distances. Don't have information about Japanese. But in my opinion, this only might count for first shots, then all ships of period should look their misses to correct aming. Some notes about mod: Almaz had 4x75 mm, not 4-inch, (and 8x47 mm) before arrival at Vladivostok, according to all books I has. Ikazuchi-class DD's got second 3-inch gun before (or maybe during) the war, and their 2-inches should have +1 quality PS: Maybe, add historical 2-inches for ships without tertiary guns? Old ones need it to shoot at least something to DD's. Gun quality should be -1 to simulate problems with their use on big ships. PPS: Your pictures are great!

I also think to append 2inch guns for cruisers

I'm adding 2-inches guns now using new assumption:
HOTCHKISS ARTILLERY
57/43 - 2inch(+10%) 37-47 - 2inch 37-47 - 2inch(-10%) # big ships

VERSION 3 IS READY!
New version includes the great number of improvements. It has 3 new scenarios, new pictures and new data for many ships. I added hotchkiss guns (2-inches) for all cruisers, deleted rangefinders from small protected cruisers, fixed mistakes in Almaz and Ikazuchi guns, revised Number 201 torpedoboat class (actually it represent Number 208), added real 6-inches gun for Korietz and tuned displacement for some ships.

Thanks Alex. Excellent stuff.
Will it install over version 2, or do I need to do a clean install?
And does the order matter - or should I install the mod THEN the additional paint packs by unzipping them into the custom folder?
Thanks.

You may overwrite version 2 or install clear. It's not important.
Additional packages not needed realy. The main package includes primary war paint for Russian ships and additional packages just contain pre-war paint for same ships. You may use it if you want to see how Russian ships looks at beginning of the war. In this case you need unzip additional packages after main in Custom Files directory and overwrite files.

Thanks. It's great. Playing the Chemulpo scenario now. The AI has surprised me by splitting the Japanese force, one element to give pursuit, one to head me off at the other side of one of the islands. Ingenious. The paint looks great on Varyag.

Alex - so the current, most up to date version is that in the OP - titled 'SAI_RJW_R&H_mod'? No other files? Like the 1st and 2nd squadron paint schemes files - you've taken them down now? Just checking I have the current version.
