I recently played the scenario Battle of Jutland as the Great Britain. After the scenario is finished I checked the detailed battle log of every sank German ship(to see how they got sunk ). Then to my surprise I found out that one Deutschland-class Pre-dreadnought was hit by a torpedo from a destroyer named V-2. To my knowledge, there is no destroyer in the Grand Fleet have that name. It seems that the AI fired a torpedo and then hit its own ship. Therefore, I am wondering if I had a double vision or is it indeed possible to have a friendly fire in SAI? If the answer is yes, this is gonna be a indeed pleasant surprise indeed for Sir Jellicoe for scoring a 13,000 ton battleship(1/5 of the total BB/B scoring) without firing a single shot.

I had to say that the German captain did a great job, the torpedo hit on the magazine and blew up the entire ship immediately.

Yes, Blue on Blue torpedo actions can and do occur and can be a negative factor, worthy of consideration, should you trap an enemy between two forces. Friendly submarines can be sunk by their own side's light forces and the former can also launch torpedo attacks against friendly forces at night or in bad weather.

I have done this to myself.
You have no idea how pleased I was that it was possible in the game, as it seems entirly appropriate.
