Seems to me the safest bet would be Space Force. Then again, I think the Germans had an idea for a two-stage, manned rocket capable of hitting New York. Pilot was supposed to eject or bail out once he had the rocket lined up. You know what, I'm thinking that emigrating to Sweden or Switzerland might not be a bad idea. Actually, I would prefer to be on a mountain top or out in the Middle of the desert on a radar site, where no one, including the squirrels know where you are. Oh, this is the kind I am talking about. Tonopah would be a good one, Mt. Hebo, Oregon is another. Here is a good picture of one..... one road up and down. This was mine. We got to watch the Russian Bear bombers come down from Kamchatka. Safest place in world, trust me. Of course late Soviet doctrine emphasized hitting EW assets and they were developing a variety of techniques and weapons for that... so...

From RTW2 Beta 26 notes: "Land based MB and TB will perform Kamikaze attacks if bad war situation, fascist regime and Kamikaze trait."
There may be other unusual situations where suicide aerial attacks may occur, but I offhand do not recall the specifics...
"Just watched the admiral order a torpedo attack by my CV... not doing this any more!" BOOM

The Russian's never had any EW that could jam our FPS-24 Radar. In fact, neither did SAC so when there was a Snowtime mission with B-52's coming down from Elmendorf through the Canadian Air Command and NORAD, we were not used. They would have needed a C5 Galaxy to carry the equipment. It was a VHF frequency radar with a range of 250 nmi. 7.5 megawatts power. It was housed in a five story building. It was something.

Although I didn't get to see air combat in the demo game I did like the design process, although I would have liked a more concrete comparison for armament. Eg. instead of level 7 armament it could say 2 machineguns and a light autocannon or something, would give me some frame of reference for what the number means even if the exact armament is ultimately irrelevant. Essentially, helps with my immersion if I can see my armament in terms of actual guns as opposed to just a number plus it helps give me an idea if I am going too far. If my 1925 fighter has a level 11 armament that might be excessive, if that means it is armed with 3 autocannons than it is definitely excessive.

The firepower value is not only the guns itself but also steadiness as gun platform, the performance of the guns, sights etc. So not so easy to translate into so and so many guns.

The general frame of reference still would be nice IMO even if it isn't directly useful and is semi-random (eg. a Level 6 could have 4 machineguns or 1 autocannon, or maybe 2 machineguns and an autocannon indicating perhaps low ammunition stores or poor gun reliability compared to the level 6 planes with lighter armament).
