I just love such awkward combinations of aircraft names, roles and pictures:

In yet another max-tech game (but only with medium fleet size), the Royal Navy sported this, uhm, thing as early as 1909:

Less humor and more "oh s**t, here we go" 1938. Fleet battle at Terchilling. Versus an equally sized Royal Navy. My entire Hochseeflotte is here. Eight fast battleships, eight battlecruisers, four fleet carriers, and whatever light forces could be brought to bear. In range of both friendly and enemy airbases. Morning, plenty of daylight, but low clouds. This battle may decide the war on the first turn! Edit: Our scout forces retreat behind a hail of torpedoes. The line engagement is met! Attachments:

Well, the weather stayed bad and it wasn't the crushing victory I had hoped for. Still though, it proved the utility of putting quad torpedo launchers on everything that floats. Even in just a fresh breeze and a drizzle, engagement was entirely within torpedo range. Sunk some of Britain's slower battleships because of that. Lost my CL Attachments:

Those aren't regular camels, they're... um... wooly camels... imported from Siberia! These particular wooly camels don't look any woolier than regular camels because... um... er... they have mange! Yes, they're definitely wooly camels with mange, and not just regular camels! The photo is definitely from Iceland!

Uhm, that's just a particular breed of Icelandic horses, obviously.

22,000 ton carrier sunk in 3 hits. Oof. This is why you escort your carriers. Attachments:

Camels may actually have evolved in northern Siberia. True fact - too weird to make up.

This is shaping up to be a very silly war.

It's a Divine Wind that blows no good?
There's a joke there somewhere, I'm sure of it. Maybe not that one, though...
