I'd much rather wait for everything to be working than get a buggy game or a store site that doesn't work. They could have set up the store so much easier if they used something like itch.io instead of trying to homebrew the store and homebrew copy protection. They have already explained why they didn't do this or something similar...

Sorry, but I have to say you are incorrect on both statements above...neither the new store nor the APS are 'homebrew' - assuming you mean 'created more-or-less from scratch', which is the normal definition of the phrase. Not that 'homebrew' is bad or anything, of course...I used to enjoy a great homebrew beer before I had to give up alcohol due to medical issues.

I'm confused. Are these systems not developed by NWS?

Are you saying these systems ARE third party?

Note that the developer post immediately above you implies that they used a third party.

Christopher was speaking to not using a service like Steam or the like where your product is basically subject to the rules/quirks/etc of the third party as far as your sales/etc goes...

I'm beginning to think the devs are obscuring the release date so they don't have to email as many keys out. Also Stairmaster: "lol at your Stalinist paranoia." Y U HAF TO BE MAD?

William has said in the past they could use itch.io and it would work fine, actually.
