Thanks for the codes! When I try to update from version 1.0 I still get the: RuletheWaves2\Data\IDes\CL5x2.tdf:unknown version error I got before reinstalling. I guess the reinstall did not get rid of the modded files? I haven't used the authorization code yet because it hasn't been 3 days, perhaps that is the reason? willy - Please PM me - if you can, zip up the file in question ("CL5x2.tdf") that is causing the issue and add it as an attachment to your PM - that way I can better see what maybe going wrong...
Edit: To help you out in the meantime, I have attached a good copy of the file in question to this post, you can unzip it and extract it into the proper listed folder, and then you should be able to update the game properly.

Already got my activation code, but just want to say thanks to the devs for being really quick on their response. Had some issues with my BIOS updates recently and the devs responded within a day.

I can no longer seem to be able to access the game with the activation code no longer where it was. When I reput in the activation code from the email last year it comes up with an error message saying the activation code is invalid. The site code and MID code are also different from what they were but the serial number is the same.

It is possible (not likely, but possible) that something like a major BIOS or related change may trigger the DRM in some cases - please email Mr. Dean (NWS Store Owner/Operator) at warshipfc@yahoo.com with your SITE/MID codes (and your RTW2 order number) and let him know you need another activation.

I am a naval fan,but also a PC hardware fan,it's so common for a PC fan to format disks which only have OS and software installed,I did it three times after purchase the game,and now I'm not able to play because no more times to make activations,I wonder how can I do.

I am also having problems with activation. I haven't received my activation email and its been nearly 48-hours since I've sent him an email. I will admit I sent it twice, just because the first time I sent the email, it was from the built-in client which I've never used before on a Microsoft machine and I wasn't sure if it went through or not. Can I please have some help?

The retail version of the game was updated to v1.22 release a few weeks ago, so you do not need to update the retail release...check the version number in the game.
It typically takes 24-48 hours for Mr. Dean to receive, process, and return an activation to customers depending upon his current work load...you should be able to play the game for 4 days before it requires activation, FYI.
