Hi there! Let share or moment of joy or anger with eachother about our or our enemies ships which are simply refuse to die. Here is my BB. It was "heavily" damaged according the AAR. After 450 min of desperate damage control it managed to survive the battle and even regain 6 knot of maximum speed

Armor's a hell of a drug. God help you the day the AI learns about torpedoes Actually he managed to dodge 2 torpedoes. He was heading home and it was dark and it got "outanowherepointblank16inchindaface" by 2 BC-s and a DD. Fortunately the torpedoes missed.

Photorealistic impression of the picture you posted: That's a pic of Mogami taken in Midway, and IIRC she got attacked at least once more after it was taken. Just by looking at that piece of mangled trash you'd think she'd taken a nosedive mere minutes later...but nope, she didn't. Some ships in history survived truly epic levels of destruction, that's for sure. Yours just joined the club .

When involved in a night action yesterday, I had one of my 60-something kton BBs rammed directly in the middle by a 40 kton BC going 20 knots due to battle damage.
It didn't even flinch. Or, actually, it did, a little - R(I think) turret was disabled(not destroyed) and the speed was reduced to 8 knots, probably due to the drag caused by having half a ship embedded in starboard, but the BB received hardly any structural and floatation damage.

Ladies and Gentlemen, what you see is the bow
In my last battle I had one British BB made it home to Skapa with the same flodding-level as the Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand. This goddamn thing received 3 air droped torpedos and one bigger fish of my DDs/CL (I don´´t remember which one it was). In addition it received 4 heavy 15" hits and 12 light hits. Superstructure was hardly damaged. The last torpedo hit the BB near Norderney in the German Bight.
In the same battle my 2 BBs (Scharnhorst and Gneisenau) challenged 2 British BC and hunted them bow in- after 5 16" hits the leading Scharnhorst had both front turrets disabled (black) and still 90% ammo left
In RTW1 I had one battle in the Baltics with a German BC-force against a Russian BC/CA-force, where I received 2 torpedos with my BC von der Tann near Gotland. She made it back to port with 5 knots of speed and still a flodding value of 1. There were only a few tons left before sinking (I was so glad I had a few tons of empty weight!). 6 turns later she would have been sunk (mouseover the blue chart and you see what flodding is left until sinking the ship).
