I know these sorts of threads can be a bit of a distraction to the builders, but it would be great to be able to pick the opposing forces so that "what if" match ups can be created without the need to create a unique scenario.

As some examples which the generators won't create on their own:
1. Early BBs against late generation Bs
2. Late model CAs against obsolete Bs
3. Battles between "Foreign service" cruiser forces which were often very different in capability to fleet cruisers and for which the distinction between CL and CA was not as clear.

I agree with Paul.
I have been trying for ages to create a scenario without any luck.
The scenario editor manual needs re-writing to cover a step by step guide.

Thanks for the feedback! I am currently working on the next development of the SAI series, and SAI itself will in all likelihood not be updated until after that is launched, as there will be several changes to the combat mechanics. But I note all reports an list them for future fixing.
