Has anyone found/decoded where the aircraft performance lists are in a savefile? Search the RTWGame~.bcs file for "[AircraftTypes]" (~ is your savegame slot number).
That is followed by "[AirUnits]" which stores where the aircraft are stationed.

Hi I was just wondering what programs some of you guys use to open the DAT files? Wasn't planning on making a mod but rather just to mess around with some of the stats and values of the base game nations.

If you use some "commander" they have usually already implement some text viewers.

[..] I was thinking that TSL is more about how much behind in this field you are but that it is strange as several fields are easily shared as being visible (ship design), others not (subdivision).
Seems to me it's something like turns since leveling up. I don't know the significance of that though.
