A fair bit happened this 10 years. First Russia lost the war.
Then i figured out the battle-carriers trick.
This will be either the greatest thing i ever build or the biggest waste of money ever.
Germany went to war with me, which would of been fine if it wasn't for the fact that they had 33 BCs and i only had 1 thanks to refits.
I lost this war heavily and had to deal with a post war treaty that banned me from building ships larger than 10,000 t and no guns bigger than 12 inches for 60 months. This meant that i had to scrap every ship i was building. This included the Rodney class, but the politicians managed to remove the treaty limits in a short enough time frame that i could build 3 Rodney classes.
I hope my next war is with France. that would be a much fairer fight than Germany.

How are you going to get 45 aircraft on that flight deck or even in that hangar? Yes, I know about deck parks. On 19 December 1939, a flight deck cruiser was proposed ( I have the drawing) with a deck length of 105 feet. I believe that is much larger than your ship, I assume your ship is a flight deck battleship. The proposed design could only carry 24 to 36 aircraft. There was another on 31 January 1940 that had a flight deck and hangar length of 127 feet and it could carry only 36 aircraft. The British Ark Royal was designed to carry practically 60 aircraft in her hangar. She had 52,580 square feet of hangar space. I have doubts whether your ship could get even close to that number of feet for 60 aircraft. Something is not correct.

Well that was a waste. Didn't even get to 1910 before getting sacked because of low prestige from trying to end a war with America. The challenge was- Jacky Fishers wet dream. Canada- All ships must be as fast as possible without completely removing armour.
Managed to get into a 42 month war with Russia before they collapsed in revolution. Thank god, i was almost about to collapse in revolution myself. My lack of turret armour finally catches up with me. I thought that BC was sunk.
Alright, things are getting interesting. I'm at the point where the game is refusing to let me get past certain speeds because of "illegal speed/weight displacement". This does mean that i can finally start putting armour on my turrets and superstructure. I have also started a doctrine of scraping and replacing all non capital ships that need a engine refit. Japan had a very quick war with me that lasted 3 months.
Had a very long war with France where they tried to take over Portia Rico before losing their only Caribbean colony. Dammed night time.
Ok, i'm ending the challenge run early. Somehow when i reloaded my last save every time i hit next month i got over 10 error messages for missing AI ship designs. It didn't crash the game it just made it very annoying to play. Besides, i'm at the point of the game where the AI is starting to make ships just as fast as mine anyway. Final images.
Now, this isn't a proper challenge run but it will be interesting enough to post about it here. I'm playing as The Byzantine Empire and rules for this run are- CLs- All light cruisers must have at least 25 knots of speed and will always prioritise weapons over speed. CAs- Starting from when i'm able to all CAs must have an all-forward firepower layout. BCs- All BCs will be built with the original idea of battle-cruisers. That is that they will be focused on destroying enemy CAs and as such must not be bigger than 25,000t. Screenshots to come soon.
Now it should be noted that i will showcasing other interesting ships i make in this run including any aircraft carriers that i make superstructures for. This is so these posts aren't to short. Alright, lets begin.
Italy are still wimps.
Still at war with Italy. Currently blockading them.
