2phoenix . Hmm... It`s interesting to do aircraft operations in realistic historical limitations of 1941-1945 era. To arm, spotting a\c, searching enemy forces, planning strike wings. In this game problems of gamer is practically close with problems of Nagumo, Fletcher, Halsey.

In my opinion the management of the air component should not be overly detailed and time consuming. The decision to launch an air strike should be managed in a way similar to that of launching a destroyer torpedo attack in a surface battle.

No detailed aircraft operation model are present in "Carriers at War 2007" game. In this, player select the dayly search sector, % of fighters in Combat Air Patrol, command to battle load of air squadrons, assign strike targets for strike air wave, and select course line of TF`s and speed of TF`s. Is a very automated game!
