save before you end every single turn, and if the turn doesn't agree with you, close the game and re-do the turn - the result is always going to be completely different
for example an enemy sub sinks one of my capital ships or the battle goes too badly i exit and resolve the turn again
doesn't solve every problem, but in the end you want have to have fun playing the game, and if something hurts your fun factor who cares if you replay a turn here and there to keep the fun going

Can definetly understand the OP's frustrations, the game still needs quite a bit of polish and it's been 2 months since the last patch.
I still love and enjoy the game but having to increasingly work around things in order to keep enjoying it.

We should have update v1.06 released within the next 24-36 hours if my estimate is correct. V-1.06 contains a number of fixes and adjustments, along with a couple of additions that I believe you players may appreciate. We just want to make sure that it works as we want it to and does not introduce any new issues, which is why we have been taking the time to wring it out.
Thanks for your patience!

Firstly this forum is really annoying when trying to quote a post. On topic. It seems to have been quite a while since the last patch. It will be most welcome. This game has major issues but I am confident they will be fixed.

Firstly: It should be mentioned that old saves are not completely compatible with the newest version. It is playable, but only if you have enough patience to click through dozens of bug screens with no real effect on gameplay. Then I would like to say that any nation´s economic situation does somehow copy real life situation of that nation, which is kinda weird, because this is paralel reality, not the historical one. For example there is no need to stop German rapid budget rise after 1918 (RGP2), just for example. That economic situation should depend on results of wars and events that happened in the game, not on events that happened in real history and not in the game. Another weird thing: AI tends to build gigantic CVLs before the CV rebuild technology. They just take a 40 000 ton BC, cut off all main turrets and place 16 planes there. I would really like to see some navy doing that IRL, they would at least put there more planes, but wait... thats illegal... that would be CV. And finaly - the peace deals. Why do you give player so little influence? I dont know how many people here agree with me, but I guess there are quite a few, and if the RNG does not give them at least logical (if not favourable) solution, they are just going to close the game and replay the last turn. So why not give them what they want, if they get it somehow anyway? You may also keep the old system for those masochists, who are present here as well, just add another checkbox to the campaign start screen. As it is now, I would not rate the game 10/10, or 0/10, I would rate it "open-beta/10".

Quick question, will the update be save breaking if said save are well before the time of airbase and aircrafts? I’m at 1903 with my current AAR so am wondering if I should update/restart the aar or keep going if the worst conflict can be avoided. I understand that the team probably don’t have a clear answer on how things could interact, but if the “start a new game” advice is due to concerns with interaction with existing air units and bases, I think I’d take the risk to keep going with my current save in the new version

There might be some funny stuff in ongoing games, but there should be nothing that would destroy the game.Especially if before there is many aircraft.

Between the broken fleet building compositions (more capital ships than cruisers + DDs), the broken legacy fleet compositions (especially 1920 start), the broken peace deal mechanis (white peace
I have no idea what "white peace" is meant to mean. What is your understanding of the term?

I have no idea what "white peace" is meant to mean. What is your understanding of the term? In diplomatic theory a peace without territorial changes or other demands on either side aka status quo ante bellum or the pre-war status quo. In game as it seems to always assume uti possidetis or essentially you have what you hold, a white peace means neither side gives up any territory points.
