Hey guys just trying to get FS back in action need some help......downloaded the FS 10.43 and followed the instructions from www.dynamic-mess.com/jeux/fighting-steel-modern-os-realism-guide/


When I run FS in Windows 10 via Admin It says I'm missing

d3drm.dll - how would I find a copy of this - Direct 9? Can't seem to find it on my machine. Did a search for d3drm.dll

Did I screw something up this time? I added my directory and copied my DBZLIB to the post.

Any help would appreciated so love this program. Miss it dearly

When you install the base Fighting Steel game it should install the DLL file you name above. If for some reason it does not then you may need to locate and download the old retained mode DLL for Direct-X (which is the "d3drm.dll" file that mentioned above). Place it in your "Windows/System32" folder and reboot the PC, then try to run the game.

Please be aware that many of the sites that offer download of this DLL may have hidden virus/trojans on their site or in the DLL file itself, so be careful.

I don't believe we have any Fighting Steel CDs left, but you should email Mr. Dean (same email as you sent the MID/Site codes to) and ask him if he has any old stock of the game left over, it is possible.
