I have at least the H-42 design already. Unfortunately, the game has a hard code limit of 89,900 to 90,000 tons. I brought up raising that limit HERE. I hope you'll add your two cents as well because the H-43 design and others like it would be exciting to see in game!

I hope you'll add your two cents as well because the H-43 design and others like it would be exciting to see in game! I was not aware of the hard limit on tonnage and read through your thread. To be fair to everyone else I won't way in on the issue as I have never played RTW2 (or RTW1, NAW, SAI or even much SAS). I am old school and still play Fighting Steel (upgraded with FS Project) and Thunder at Sea, where I am still modding the base campaigns and playing with fictional campaigns such as a War Plan Orange starting in mid 1935 playing as IJN and using the tactic of avoiding day time battles, staying relatively close and then trying to close and engage at night using superior night fighting training to locate, illuminate and target the enemy (US, UK, Dutch, French, Australia, etc.) with Long Lance torpedoes. In this way I chip away at the main force and also try to finish off stragglers if I get a chance.

There also was a French project using something like 19in guns (8 in 2 quads), maybe you can look into those. Also, H43 and H44 are seen as comments on technical possibilities and wallpapers for Hitler’s bedroom rather than seriously considered designs for building. Similar case with the Tillman designs. Not saying you shouldn’t put them in, though.

Russia could use another design... Do you have a direct link to a particular ship you'd like to see?

I got the 1st batch of IDes done. Here are the German H-Series Battleships. The secondary and tertiary guns are not accurate to the designs because the AI will most likely alter these in some form or fashion when recreating these designs for itself. I'll attempt to match the caliber with the number of guns from here on out.

Have been trying to replicate the H3a battlecruiser design but its speed and deck armour hasn't made meeting the weight requirements easy.

Have been trying to replicate the H3a battlecruiser design but its speed and deck armour hasn't made meeting the weight requirements easy. I dont worry about deck beyond 6.5 inches in game. That's nearly an upper limit. Tried to add the H3A, but the design wouldnt work as a BC. It refuses to be classified as anything other than a BB. I might find that all the BC designs with caliber above 16 may refuse to be classed as BC. I might have to do Fast BB's. The Royal Navy decided to pass on the 6 gun H3A due to the sighting nightmare from fewer and slower reloading guns. So I think Ill leave it out. There are better designs.

Shouldn't the G3 and N3 classes have a ABQ rather than a ABL layout? All of the pans I've seen so far have significant amounts of superstructure between the second and third turret as well as the third turret trained astern in the neutral position.

The G3 does have what you’re asking.
I thought about doing that with the N3. I read the ship doesn’t use superfiring turrets to keep the center of gravity low. But I could t figure out how to arrange the ship the way I wanted. I may redo that ship. Good comment.

Wouldn't be bad if you left the N3 template as is either, they weren't ordered, so we don't have finalized designs.
