When did you start the game? - 1920 What nation were you playing? - Germany Were there any start options that were not the default? - Very Large fleet size, Historical Washington Treaty Describe the issue in detail. - An error dialog appears consistently at the end of each battle turn: "Error in the EndofTurnProcedures Procedures! Richedit line insertion error." Does not go away when reloading saves or restarting game. What were you doing when the bug occurred - Advancing a turn(s) in battle. What did you expect to happen and how was the result you saw different than you expected. - I expected the error to not appear and the turn to advance smoothly. Can you describe how to reproduce the bug - Enter a Large/Fleet battle and advance a few turns. What version of the game were you playing (v1.00, v1.01, etc)? - v1.11

nafeij Thanks for the report, but the zipped file of the save game has only an empty game folder, no contents...possibly you zipped up the wrong folder?

williammiller I'm having issues uploading it because of the filesize cap, so here's a link instead: Game2

Use the 7-zip packer to pack the folders - results in file sizes of 100-400KB. (Yeah, ZIP sucks!)
You can download the software for free (it's opensource!) at www.7-zip.org/Pls. don't go anywhere else than to the original creator, unless you like outdated or/and malware-ridden software versions ...

Any updates? I'm encountering this error more in other playthroughs, even after the 1.4 patch. Something of note is that the in-game timer and log have also stopped updating. Attachment Deleted

nafeij I will check with Fredrik to see what the status is of this issue - thanks.

nafeij Speaking with Fredrik, it is most likely that you have some language settings in Windows that the game does not like, or you have some special characters in the ship names that may contribute to the issue...for example one of your ships is named "Lyon (star)", it is not a good idea to use special characters such as ( ) for ship names as that might cause issues in some cases. If you don't mind me asking, what language pack is your Windows OS using?

williammiller I suspect that this is the issue. Prior to the battle, I had renamed one of my ship as République, with an accented e. I've since changed that name and I've yet to encounter any error popups in subsequent battles.

This seems to be the newest thread concerning this error so I'm capturing it ;-) Error still present in 1.20I did not rename any ships. Running (this game) on a Win10 laptop. I can click the message away and advance, the ships will move and turn, but the time & counter don't and I get the same error again and again. I have not tried reloading, but reading this thread this I doubt it will help. Screenshot and savegame folder attached. It is the same battle that started with the "Error in PlaceShipsAtScreenPoints" I posted earlier (link).EDIT Reloading did help! Attachments:
