新しい注文の作成 大東亜共栄圏 An Imperial Japanese Navy Campaign 大日本帝國海軍
by Dizzy Description:This mod features you as the Gensui of the Imperial Japanese Navy of the Empire of Japan in the year 1900 where Italy has been replaced with the Republic of China and Germany has been replaced with the Netherlands for a more exclusive Pacific Theater playthrough that focuses on the immediate and pressing situation surrounding Japan. This campaign includes the Netherlands with their rich oil fields in Indonesia. German colonies in the Pacific have been placed under Netherlands ownership. The Republic of China controls new Chinese colonies allowing you to rewrite the two Sino-Japanese wars. Features new missions for Japan vs Netherlands. Designed for Very Large Fleets. Mod not optimized for a 1920 start. The Home and Build Areas of the USA have been changed to Western USA. The Home and Build Area of the United Kingdom has been changed to Malta and the Mediterranean. The Home and Build Areas of France have been changed to Southern France and the Mediterranean. The Home and Build Areas of Russia have been changed to Northeast Asia. The Home and Build Areas of China have been changed to Southeast Asia. Persia, Java, Malaya, Borneo, Sumatra, all now have oil. Some colonies have had base capacity and value changed. Some economies have been altered for gameplay balance. See pic below for starting economy. Included in this download are new optional Flags seen in the pic above (click it) along with the budget of each nation using Very Large Fleets size. To do:Nothing. How to install:Drop the Data and the Flags folder of the 7zip file in the main Rule the Waves 2 folder and overwrite any files. Make sure to make a backup of any files that will be overwritten. Load the game, select a New Campaign and use the drop down menu to select Empire of the Rising Sun. Recommended to use Very Large Fleets. This mod comes pre-packaged with the ROC and Netherlands mods due to several changes that needed to be made. So remember to reinstall the original ROC and Netherlands mods if not playing Empire of the Rising Sun as some files have changed. You're Done! Enjoy. Credits: cv10 for his crazy cool Netherlands mod and kongxinga for his ROC mod. Attachments:

Why the change to home build areas? Has northern Europe been removed?

Why the change to home build areas? Has northern Europe been removed? Good question. No, Northern Europe is still there, lol. Closer home areas to Japan are a good thing mechanics wise as it leads to a tighter and more intense Japan experience. Give it a try. I'm sure you'll like it. Let me know what you think.

One way to put the mod in is to rename the original data and flag directories to Data BAC and Flag BAC then unzip mod into the RTW2 flag and data directories. Now if you want to go back just rename the flag and data then get the original and rename them back.

I'm not interested in developing a mod manager. But we really need one. It's so easy to backup your files. You have to be real lazy not to do it. I'm just that kind of lazy, lol. I just reinstall the game, haha.

Updated to V2. Some colonies have had their values reduced from 10 to 9 to allow invasions to work. That is all.
***Note: If you update in the middle of a campaign playthru, these changes won't affect your game. If you want to update your save game, go to the save folder of your game, open mapadataX.dat and search for any 'PossessionXXValue=XX' of 10, 12 or 15 and change them to 9. Invasions will now work for those colonies. Search for 'Value=10', make sure it's a possession and change to 9, do the same for values 12 and 15.

How do you mod the boosted techs in this mod-scenario? Cuz I would like the Japanese to have dive bomber and coordinated carrier strikes first.

I have not RTW2 on this computer, so I may be not completely right but I will try guide you. You need to set both technologies as bonus tech technologies. 1. identify ID number of that technologies in researcharea2.dat 2. edit nation file n00 or n20 and add lines: BTLx=<number> x ... from 1 to ... <number> ... ID number you find out in point 1 Save

Mod has been tested with patch [v1.17] from 1900 to 1953. The only glitch was ROC had an uprising in Hainan and it changed hands to Chin China. I could have changed it back to ROC in the mapdata file of my save game folder, but it didnt bother me. The game was very fun and challenging, definitely harder than a stock Japan playthrough and the Netherlands and ROC added a lot of new content and a more Japan focused campaign. Very fun.

So I was playing this mod and blockading the Russians in Northeast Asia. One of my ships intercepted a ship running the blockade, and the battle spawned them in Northern Europe as if the Russian home area were still over there.
EDIT: Also, the "uprising in China" event doesn't affect relations with China. Kinda seems like it should.
EDIT 2: Oh, couple of other things - raids on the Dutch coastline spawned my fleets pointing towards Germany instead of the Netherlands and the Dutch fleet behind me, and now China has attempted to invade Kwang-Chou-Wan after I took it off the French, and my fleet kinda spawned surrounding theirs.
EDIT 3: Blockade runner events for ROC spawn off the east coast of the US.
EDIT 4: The game ran out of names for Dutch AMCs, and is now asking me to name the AI's ships for it.
EDIT 5: ROC just granted independence to Northern China. Seems kinda odd.
EDIT 6: ROC is supposed to change from a limited democracy to a liberal democracy at some point, but I haven't seen it happen.
