Is there a way to increase the technology research speed like crazy? I tried changing the research fund percentage and the research speed in the 'RTWGame' file and nothing seems to change no matter what numbers I put in there. Does anyone know if there is a way to do it? Much appreciated

But I am not sure if it has diminishing returns too.

I already have a 999999999 funds and the research speed is still somewhat really slow, it truly bothers me greatly when I hit 1955 and a bunch of my researches aren't done yet It's sad

Tech progress is also governed by the techs themselves. If you open Data\ResearchAreas.dat, you'll find a bunch of entries like
The one that looks like a year is a soft floor on when the tech can appear. If the current year is earlier than that, research into that tech will be penalized. If you want techs to be available earlier than usual, try editing all those years to 1900 (or whatever year you want as the soft floor).
The 15 controls how much research is required to develop the tech. Smaller numbers are developed faster. If you want techs to finish faster once they're selected, try editing those numbers to something smaller.
